Our take
I bought this fine slice disc hoping to get thin, even slices for salads and gratins. At 1.2mm, it does a great job – cucumbers and carrots come out paper-thin. However, note that this is compatible with Oster, not Vitamix, despite the listing title. If you have an Oster Pro 1200, it works perfectly. The blade is sharp and easy to clean. The only downside is limited compatibility; double-check your model before ordering.
